I was so happy when the very gorgeous and funny JBlondie honoured me by including me in her Sisterhood of Bloggers post. Thank you honey… and I hope to see you blogging again soon, ok?
I have always been a firm believer in women helping and supporting other women. We have enough roadblocks in our way in this still very much male-dominated world.
I am with Madeleine Albright when she said, “there is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.”
It angers me to see women run each other down. It suggests insecurity and jealousy. We can be better than that ladies!
I make it my priority to read, promote and support several excellent female bloggers here and I feel very good about doing it. I am happy enough with my own blogs to not ever feel that me promoting them in some way takes readership or traffic away from me. I enjoy building friendships and entering into stimulating discussions with them. And I learn something every time I do.
Women ROCK! We are strong, smart, funny, compassionate, caring, nurturing, sexy, fierce creatures. I would never trade being a woman for being a man… (well for one day only but you can read about that here!)
- Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their site;
- Put the award logo on your blog;
- Answer the ten questions sent to you;
- Nominate seven blogs;
1.What is your favourite position?
No brainer! Two words ladies… Reverse Cowgirl.
If you haven’t tried this posiiton out… fix that!
You are in control of pace, pressure, penetration. (Yes, I am a sub but there are times I just want to get off, you know?)
And the feeling of him pressing and rubbing against your g-spot?
Fuuuuuuuck! that is soooooo divine!
What are you doing? You can read this later… go!
2.If you and your ten-year old self would meet and have a talk, what would she be telling you?
I took the opposite view when I answered this question here, describing what I would say to her.
What she would say to me? Probably… “why aren’t you an actress yet? Why aren’t you in films? What happened?” And then she would cast me a scornful look and walk away…
3.What is the first bit of writing you did outside of school/homework ?
Around 12 I think. I liked to write short stories but I never showed anyone. As the teenage years brought hormones, relationships, sex, I ventured into poetry… baaaad poetry! But it was sweet stuff…
“Endless pools of sleepy blue…” his eyes!
4. What’s your favorite song now?
Oh no! Right now? I listen to Uptown Funk A LOT! It’s just too catchy! But, of course, anything by Ed Sheeran and Hozier makes me happy!
5. If you could tell the world just one thing what would it be?
Kindness costs you nothing and will make you happier. Stop being cunts.
6.Which period of history had the best clothing?
Oh! 1920s! No doubt!
7. What makes you suddenly and disproportionately cross?
Rudeness. Narrow-mindedness. Wilful ignorance.
8. How good are you at keeping secrets?
I am a vault! What you tell me stays with me. Consider me a confessional, without the god stuff!
9. Do you have a pet? Tell us about her / him.
Lily! Poppy! Too much to tell!
I don’t own them, they own me. If you want to read about them… here.
10. If you could invent anything, what would it be?
Cures for horrible cruel diseases… cancer, Alzheimer’s, MND, ALS, MS, AIDS, Parkinson’s, malaria, everything, all of them.
On a frivolous note… a transporter, Star Trek style!
That was fun!
So, now it’s my turn to shout out to some of my talented, wonderful sisters on here! (One I really wanted to include is Felicity Johns, but my sis is so busy on her exciting new projects that I cut her some slack!)
So here are my gals! They have either entertained me, informed me, made me laugh, or turned me on! Thank you sisters!
I can’t stop at 7! I am a rebel!
If I have omitted anyone, please do not be hurt! I am trying to keep in mind the lovely women I have been interacting with the most lately. Believe me, I could have kept going!
I want to thank all the amazing women blogging on here and encourage you all to keep it up.
Never let your voice be silenced!
Now… if you found my post so fascinating that you still haven’t gone off to try the reverse cowgirl… Go!
